Post by DR. DEATH DEFYING on Oct 9, 2011 0:26:18 GMT
This is the list of canons, motorbabies - these are the characters which have been created by MCR or for this site specifically. Each and every one of them have been designed and crafted with love - and maybe a little sprinkle of violence, danger and pixie dust. There are currently 11 open canons, 6 males and 5 females. After reserving a canon, you have 7 days to post your application. To play a canon, you need to be ready to be active and take part in the action.
Party Poison | Taken
Male | Thirty-three | Play-by: Gerard Way
This Crayola red-head is Zone 6's (un)official leader, an unmistakable figure in the zones with his ragtag bunch of lovelies, the Fabulous Killjoys. Party Poison is irrational and has a bit of a hero complex, but he usually means well. He's extremely loyal to those he calls his friends and will do anything to protect them, which means he often puts himself in danger when he probably shouldn’t. Normally hot-headed, it is pretty easy to see why he gets himself into so many claps. You can normally find him roaring around the desert in his baby, the modified Trans Am, or hanging around the Diner.
Fun Ghoul | Taken
Male | Twenty-nine | Play-by: Frank Iero
The baby of the Zone 6 group founders, Fun Ghoul takes more than enough stick about his height and age. But don't let his looks fool you - he is all about fire-power, and he knows more than enough ways to take down an enemy with the biggest bang possible. From ray-guns to Bazookas, he's your guy. He’s also childish and immature, mostly to piss people off, and more likely than not, you can find him with a smirk on his face and a twinkle in his eyes, especially when he gets to play with his explosives.
Jet Star | Taken
Male | Thirty-four | Play-by: Ray Toro
Whilst he's not as over-the-top or showy as some of the Killjoys, Jet Star is probably the most loyal guy you'll meet, and definitely the person you want by your side in a firefight. He often stays in the background but he’s also the muscle of the Fabulous Killjoys – he’s saved Party Poison from danger and death more times than you can count. He's also the resident getaway driver for Zone 6 and one talented driver; when shit hits the fan, he's the one who'll hit the red line and get your asses out of there.
Kobra Kid | Taken
Male | Thirty-one | Play-by: Mikey Way
Tall, skinny and Party Poison's little brother, Kobra Kid, at first glance, may seem like somebody you can pick on, but don’t get cocky, this guy's pretty dangerous when he wants to be. Intelligent and the one who handles most of the tech-based problems in his group, he's also a Kung Fu expert and a master in hand-to-hand combat to top it all off. Whilst normally serious, little Grace can often coax a smile out of him. He's been teaching her the basics of Killjoy life (like hacking vending machines.)
Grace | OPEN
Female | Ten | Play-by: Grace Jeanette
This girl has tagged along with the Fabulous Killjoys since they rescued her from certain death at the hands of a Drac patrol, and she's learning the skills of being a Killjoy from all the members. She's particularly close to the brothers, Party Poison and Kobra Kid, who she's come to see as the fathers and family she never had. Kobra Kid is her mentor. Curious, cheerful and always eager to learn, Grace can put a smile on the stoniest of faces.
Show Pony | Taken
Male | Twenty-eight | Play-by: Ricky Rebel
Dr D's assistant and friend, Show Pony makes for quite the site when he's on errands or running messages. He gets through the zones on rollerskates in his costume of tights and ripped, midriff-baring tops and can pass on messages faster than anyone else in the zones. He's extremely cheerful, and very quirky and enthusiastic, but don't underestimate him - when it comes down to it, he'll get his hands dirty just like anyone else if necessary.
Tommy Chow Mein | OPEN
Male | Thirty-six | Play-by: Jared Leto
You need anything, anything at all, and Tommy is probably your guy. He’s got connections everywhere and he makes good use of it. Whilst some of the things he sells may not exactly be perfect quality, they’re better than nothing, right? A salesman by trade and nature, Tommy could probably sell you your own house, and for double the price you paid too. He’s charming but not exactly the most social of guys – you’re more likely to find him lurking in his warehouse than anywhere else.
Gravel Gertie | OPEN
Female | Twenty-eight | Play-by: Anne Hathaway
Gertie is a firm, loving presence in the zones, although she spends most days in Zone 3 in her self-declared orphanage, which is home to most, if not all, of the kids who have (some way or another) found themselves in the zones. She offers food, protection and love to all those who come through the doors, whether they’re child, adult or animal, but there’s a special place in her heart for her babies – despite her lack of combat training, don’t think she won’t kick butt if they’re in danger. Nearly all Killjoys have visited her orphanage at some point, where she offers warm meals and beds for those who really need them.
Radio Hush | Taken
Female | Thirty-four | Play-by: Lindsey Way
Hush devotes all of her time keeping her family, The Nuclearheads, safe from attack and will put their lives above nearly everything else. She’s fiercely protective of those she considers friends or she’s loyal to, and she’s probably one of your strongest allies... if you can earn her trust, that is. Rumours abound about why – people say she has a dark past, or lost her family to them – but she’s got a grudge against BL/ind to rival the most bitter Killjoy, and has a tendency to collect and look after newbie Killjoys like a mother hen.
Vaude Villian | Taken
Male | Thirty-two | Play-by: Gabe Saporta
Smooth-talking and charming, Vaude can often talk his way out of the most sticky situations. He’s never quite truthful and has a tendency to spin tall tales out of the most normal occurrences, but he’s also extremely cunning and doesn’t let anything stop him when he wants something. He can be ruthless, but prefers not to get his own hands dirty and normally sends out others to do the dirty work. Most of the time, he stays behind-the-scenes, keeping The Smilers and their black market running smoothly.
Mona Lisa | Taken
Female | Twenty-eight | Play-by:
Agyness Deyn orLacey Sturm
Mona is one who prefers to stay out of fights and, most of the time, stays in her hideout in Zone 3. She’s intelligent to the point of pushing people away, which suits her just fine. She’s a loner and it’s common for her gang members to be the only ones she talks to for weeks on end. Extremely interested in the ‘Before’, Mona is an avid collector of retro gadgets, and it’s said she likes them more than she likes people. She’s disinterested in most of the Killjoy happenings, but has made packs with The Madmen on occasion to keep her Renegades safe.
Achilles Hell | Taken
Male | Twenty-six | Play-by: Jackson Rathbone
Achilles Hell got his name when he first rose to prominence in the zones, named for his ruthless exploitation of his enemies’ weaknesses. Before then, he’d just been plain old baby-faced _____, yet another runaway from Battery City. Now he’s the leader of The Madmen, and he lives up to that name well – known for his lack of mercy when it comes to those that piss him off, Achilles never hesitates to pull the trigger. But he’s not all bad, as long as you stay on his good side. He’s a known (and talented) pickpocket and can hot-wire a car in less time than it takes for you to say ‘Hey, that’s mine!’
Catch 22 | Taken
Male | Twenty-nine | Play-by: Adam Lambert
Zone 5’s charismatic and slightly off-the-wall leader, Catch 22 is known for his extremely flamboyant and bright personality, not to mention his penchant for sarcasm. Half the time he’s not serious, and even the people who know him best have trouble picking apart what he really means under it all sometimes. He’s extravagant and likes to throw a party, which makes him a popular leader of The Happy Scythes. There’s more to him than first appearances may show, though – he’s a capable shot and has more secrets than the average high school queen bee.
DJ Hot Chimp | OPEN
Female | Thirty | Play-by: Kristan Morrison
A close friend of Dr. Death Defying, DJ Hot Chimp broadcasts from WKIL radio station and plays some slamming tunes. She knows more about the zones than most people know about their home-town, and could probably tell you a story about every nook and cranny out there. She’s definitely not just a pretty face – and she’s also a badass driver and drives the getaway van for Dr. Death and his friends.
Agent Cherri Cola | OPEN
Male | Thirty | Play-by: Your choice
Nobody really knows where Cherri came from, or why, but he’s quite the figure in the zones. Apparently half – or maybe all – android, Cherri escaped his original owners and decided to fight on the side of the Killjoys. Not a lot of people know what his motivations are, but he’s a loyal figure to the resistance, despite his original programming. He’s also the owner of the Fuck You House, where he puts on music and entertainment for weary Killjoys – if you’re lucky, you might even catch him playing a few songs on stage every so often. Occasionally heard over the airwaves too instead of Dr. Death.
Lady Revolution | OPEN
Female | Twenty-seven | Play-by: Freida Pinto
Lady is known well in the zones because she runs The Diner and The Motel, an occupation which means she meets a lot of different civilians and Killjoys. She’s not one for combat, but if you need a good meal, a warm smile, a friendly face or a place to stay, she’s often the one you should come to. A Killjoy sympathiser more than one herself, she wears her ray-gun religiously none-the-less, and will defend her diner with all she’s got.
Hella Kitty | OPEN
Female | Twenty-six | Play-by: Hayley Williams
A former medical student, Kitty is pretty much the closest thing to a doctor out in the zones for a lot of people. She was accepted into a 7-year medical course straight out of high school at the tender age of eighteen, but she had only just started it when the Helium Wars struck. She moved to Battery City to finish the course and she was turned to the life of a Killjoy by
her former loverFun Ghoul after he ran away and she followed afterwards. She’s set up camp at Grimshaw, where injured Killjoys often stumble in missing various important parts of their body.
Desi Maul | OPEN
Male | Twenty-one | Play-by: Andrej Pejic
Exceptionally quiet and reserved, Maul is not exactly the life of the party out in the zones. He – and he is a he, don’t get confused even though he’s probably prettier than you – prefers to keep to himself. But one thing is for sure – Maul is as smart as hell. He’s got fingers like magic, at least when it comes to computers. You need to crack into a high-tech security system? Maul is your man, as long as you can interest him enough to take up the challenge.
One-Eyed Jack | Taken
Male | Thirty | Play-by: Bert McCracken
Probably the first thing that most people notice about One-Eyed Jack when they’re introduced to him is that he actually has both eyes. Confusing? Maybe, but Jack got his name from his paranoia, not his lack of eyes. He fears being attacked at night more than anything else and has a habit of sleeping with one eye open at all times, thus his nickname. An exceptional mechanic, Jack will work for nearly anybody – as long as you can pay him – but don’t expect good customer service as well.
Dior | OPEN
Female | Twenty-four | Play-by: Katja Cintja
Dior brings a touch of retro glamour to the world with her red lipstick and fondness for vintage fashion. An entertainer and dancer at Hyper Thrust, she spends most of her nights there, when she's not making a little extra on the side working at the FU house (but that's her little secret, of course.) Known for her playful, fun-loving nature, and her smile that rarely disappears, Dior is a well-known face to the bar regulars.
Korse | Taken
Male | Fifty-one | Play-by: Grant Morrison
BL/ind's chief exterminator, Korse has been working for them since he was first brought back into existence - he's the result of BL/ind's experiments into making sure that death isn't the end, one of their first fully-functioning android-human hybrids and the only one so far which they trust enough to run one of their departments. He's extremely good at his job and has a hatred for Killjoys like no other, programmed into his very existence. Ruthless, without mercy and well-trained, you really don't want to meet Korse in a dark alley any time soon.
Katsumi Miharu | OPEN
Female | Thirty | Play-by: Airi Isoda
The manager of BL/ind’s S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W operations in Battery City, Katsumi worked her way up the company from the resident paperwork-filer to a well-respected and equally feared member of BL/ind, and the resident face of all their PR campaigns and videos. To Battery City residents, she’s associated with safety – but to Killjoys, she’s anything but. On a whole, Katsumi is capable but not ruthless, at least not to those who stay on her good side – but she’s extremely loyal to BL/ind and won’t hesitate to do what she thinks is best for the company.
_______ _______ | Taken
Female | Twenty-three | Play-by: Your choice
A Killjoy double agent inside BL/ind, this girl/guy has been working their way up the ranks, trying to find themselves a niche so they can gather as much information as possible on them. They're not the first one to try, but they're the one that has survived the longest so far. Will they make it out alive? Will somebody rumble them?
_______ Blackburn | OPEN
Male | Forty-one | Play-by: David Boreanaz
The head of the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W program, Blackburn is, alongside Korse, the equivalent of the ‘bogeyman’ to the Killjoys in the zones. He’s a well-known face to them and has a lot of power and willing Draculoids at his disposal, which he uses to his advantage. The truth about his past is carefully hidden, but people say that he was once a heavily-opposed to BL/ind, which makes it even stranger that he now is one of their most loyal supporters. Then again, everything can be controlled by pills...
Detective Laurence _______ | OPEN
Male | Thirty-one | Play-by: Bob Bryar
Laurence is the surprisingly young Chief of Police for Battery City’s police force. The police are considered lower down the chain of command than even Draculoids, but he does the best with that he has. He knows a lot about BL/ind and knows they’re corrupt, but he also knows that they provide safety for people who would otherwise starve or die from the radiation and for that reason, he stays loyal to them. He sees the Killjoys are nothing more than ill-informed pests, but not terrorists. He wants to create a police force that the citizens can trust and believe in, and severely dislikes the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W unit.
Iris Devereux | OPEN
Female | Late thirties | Play-by: Christina Hendricks
A marketing guru and the head of the public enlightenment department at BL/ind, Iris is the person behind all of their clean, polished advertisements you see all over Battery City. She has a way with words to rival the best tale-spinner out there, and she is very, very convincing when she wants to be. A smart woman, she keeps her cards held close and very little is known about her past or family life - by anyone.
Doctor Mathias Alcott, M.D | OPEN
Male | Thirty-three | Play-by: Ian Somerhalder
Mathias is employed by BL/ind to keep the pills the population heavily relies on in development and production. He's created some of their most popular pills, including 'Smileys', which give a much-needed happiness boost for some people. He studied medicine in his younger years in California, but now rarely practices medicine and spends most of his time in the many labratories at BL/ind HQ, playing around with new chemical combinations.
